THE MAZE IN BERLIN! IT’S ON! WE HAVE NEWS!
Dearests!
We kept it quiet around the preps for the MAZE in Berlin. After an incredible month at Secret Project Robot in NYC this July we’re getting ready for the first Berlin run of the festival-installation or instival-festallation in September at Westgermany.
2 THINGS:
ONE. Tentative Program!
TWO. Crowd funding with useful prices!
Here’s pictures of the NYC MAZE

Noisey Mag: Yeah, festivals can be pretty fucking boring. Apart from being held in a maze, how is your different? -
Sam Hillmer (Co-Founder of The Maze): Well, festivals are always oriented around the concept of bringing someone far away to you. Like when a random fest comes to New York, most of the local community is excluded. There may be a few token people who are allowed to play, but the festival is this thing that exists in our midst and articulates this boundary. Our model is going to a community and inviting EVERYONE to be a part of it, and having outsiders become the minority. That’s unique.
